This position serves as our primary contact between us and our client’s customers. It’s vital that a candidate shows the highest level of professionalism and care while performing these services. Candidate should possess the necessary skills to complete the following tasks:
A.) The evening before you’ll plan your day by:
1.) Reviewing your service calls making sure you have all jobs listed on cover sheet
2.) Check your vehicle to assure its mechanically sound and fueled up
3.) Verify that you have all tools and supplies necessary to complete your jobs
B.) Starting Your Day
1.) Complete required phone calls to check in for the day
2.) Arrive at your first stop within ten (10) minutes of the scheduled arrival time
3.) Make a thorough inspection of the furniture in question and assess the best resolution
4.) Complete the repairs in a prompt, efficient manner
5.) Thoroughly complete the paperwork and have customer sign
6.) Call tech report into client
C.) Finishing Your Day:
Review all service calls for thoroughness and send tech reports into office via email with all corresponding photos
Requirements
- Clean criminal background check
- Late model, dependable vehicle (preferably small station wagon or minivan)
- Good writing skills
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Good problem solver and team player
- Experience in all disciplines of furniture repair
1.) Wood touch up
2.) Upholstery / frame repairs
3.) Hand Stitching
4.) Leather / vinyl repairs
5.) Basic Mechanical aptitude
6.) Cleaning
- Good Organizational Skills
1.) Ability to maintain an organized vehicle, stocked with proper tools and supplies
2.) Ability to maintain paperwork and keep records of work orders and photos for 30 days
3.) Maintain a clean uniform
